Θετικός στον κορονοϊό ο Μπρους Ντίκινσον των Iron Maiden…
Ο αρχηγός των Iron Maiden, Μπρους Ντίκινσον, βρέθηκε θετικός στον κορονοϊό, λίγες ημέρες μετά από τον εντοπισμό θετικού κρούσματος στην οικογένειά του, που τον ανάγκασε να ακυρώσει περιοδεία στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.
Ο θρύλος της heavy metal, ο οποίος έχει κάνει και τις δύο δόσεις εμβολίου κατά της COVID – 19 εκτίμησε ότι θα αντιμετώπιζε «σοβαρό πρόβλημα» αν δεν είχε εμβολιαστεί. Ο Ντίκινσον είπε στο Rolling Stone ότι έκανε τεστ για COVID-19 νωρίτερα αυτή την εβδομάδα μετά από συμπτώματα και βρέθηκε θετικός.
«Φτερνιζόμουν λίγο. Για μερικές μέρες, ένιωθα λίγο αδύναμος, σαν γρίπη, και αυτό ήταν όλο» εξήγησε.
«Και είμαι 63 ετών. Δεν έχω σχεδόν καμία αμφιβολία ότι αν δεν έκανα το εμβόλιο, θα μπορούσα να έχω σοβαρό πρόβλημα» πρόσθεσε.
«Προσωπικά, πιστεύω ότι οι άνθρωποι είναι πολύ κακώς ενημερωμένοι εάν δεν πάνε και δεν κάνουν δύο δόσεις εμβολίου όσο το δυνατόν γρηγορότερα, όχι για να παρακολουθούν συναυλίες, αλλά για την υγεία τους» υπογράμμισε.
«Ακόμη και αν κάνετε δύο δόσεις εμβολίου, μπορείτε να κολλήσετε την COVID-19 και επομένως μπορείτε να τη μεταδώσετε σε άλλα άτομα, που μπορεί να μην έχουν εμβολιαστεί και να αρρωστήσουν σοβαρά και να πεθάνουν» τόνισε ο τραγουδιστής των Iron Maiden.
«Ο καρκίνος σκοτώνει πολλούς ανθρώπους. Τα καρδιακά επεισόδια σκοτώνουν πολλούς ανθρώπους. Η παχυσαρκία σκοτώνει πολλούς ανθρώπους. Η ελονοσία σκοτώνει πολλούς ανθρώπους κάθε χρόνο… Έτσι, κάποια στιγμή, πρέπει απλώς να πούμε: «Μάλλον θα πρέπει να ζήσουμε με αυτό. Και αν πρόκειται να ζήσουμε με αυτό, τότε εμβολιαστείτε» ανέφερε ο Μπρους Ντίκινσον.
Έτσι …εκτίμησε από την επιστημονική του καθέδρα ο θρύλος «της» heavy metal και «αρχηγός» των Iron Maiden. Κατά τ’ άλλα, έτσι και πάει να μιλήσει περί ιού ο οποιοσδήποτε από μας, είναι ψεκασμένος.
Οι διατυπώσεις αποκαλύπτουν το είδος του τσίρκου με το οποίο έχουμε να κάνουμε [εννοώ τόσο τον ίδιο τον BD και τους ομοίους του, όσο και, φυσικά, τους δημοσιογράφους:] «Δεν έχω σχεδόν καμία αμφιβολία ότι αν δεν έκανα το εμβόλιο, θα μπορούσα να έχω σοβαρό πρόβλημα».
Οι τρεις τελευταίες παράγραφοι είναι, απλά, το αλάτι της ζωής. Δεν ξέρω ποιανού η αγραμματοσύνη / τρικυμία εν κρανίω έχει το πάνω χέρι, του BD, του συντάκτη του Rolling Stone* ή εκείνου του …news24/7, αλλά δεν έχει σημασία. Αυτό που μετράει είναι το αποτέλεσμα.
ΥΓ. Ξαναδιαβάζοντας τις δηλώσεις, διαβλέπω μια περίπτωση να αποτελούν ένα είδος ανερμάτιστης πλάκας του «αρχηγού» , χαμένης στη μετάφραση.
* Οι εποχές του Hunter S. Thompson βρίσκονται σε απόσταση ατλαντίδειας ουτοπίας. Το “θρυλικό έντυπο” δεν χρησιμεύει σήμερα ούτε για κωλόχαρτο.
I find Dickinson’s perspective fascinating. True. A lot of people die from the flu, cancer, heart attacks, suicide, etc. And as everyone should know being vaccinated is only about 60% effective against getting a bug be it flu or covid. Here’s what’s interesting about all this. My programmer at the office has not been in the office for over a year and a half. There is no real reason for him to be at the office, because if he’s at the office he’s still working on remote servers. But one of the reasons our nice new office building, which has enticed all of our staff besides him and one of our planners to work in the office, hasn’t enticed him to work in the office is that he is scared shitless of covid.
He got both shots and he now thinks he’s having some serious side effects from the shots. He called me on Thursday to ask for the last two days of the month off to go to Nebraska to photograph his niece’s graduation. His brother had covid last year, and now his sister-in-law and two of the 5 children have had covid in the last few weeks. I was surprised he was considering going, but I gave him the time off. I told him he will be testing the efficacy of his covid vaccinations. He said “Yes! He was going to visit the Branch Covidians!” I’m sure you remember the Branch Davidians, the fundamentalists who were mass murdered by Janet Reno’s justice department under the Clinton Administration for no good reason other than they stood up to the government?
It will be interesting to see how he fares.
Of course I remember the disgraceful assault in Waco. And the equally disgraceful way the media covered it.
The fact the guy’s not scared being around people infected by the virus is surprising. According to the narrative, he can catch the disease, get seriously ill, be hospitalized etc. etc.
One thing I cannot understand, therefore, is why the vaccinated are not forced to take the test to get to work, like the unvaccinated do.
Good question. We haven’t gotten to that level of proving were vaxed to do anything out here. Our governess is trying to force everyone to wear masks again as to not shame the unvaxed. No one has asked me for proof that I’m vaxed, so there’s no reason to believe that only the vaxed are unmasked out here. Everyone takes everyone else’s word for it that they are vaxed or not. I hardly ever wore a mask last year when it was mandatory, even outside. Most of the people who live in Corrales would not wear masks outside. We could tell the outsiders by who wore masks walking, running and riding bikes in the bosque. I would simply avoid the masked bandits who don’t have enough sense to know better.
