JOHANNES BRAHMS : VIOLIN CONCERTO – Allegro non troppo

Pinhas Zukerman και την Orchestre de Paris υπό τον Daniel Barenboim.

Johannes Brahms’ violin concerto, especially the first segment of its first part, is one of the things you avoid talking about, for fear that you may become …quaintly hyperbolic. So I stop right here.
We hear it performed by
Pinhas Zukerman and the Orchestre De Paris conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

Fantastic. That took me all over the place, emotionally.
Is that what a concerto is supposed to do?

Certainly… if it is written by someone like Brahms [who happens to be my favorite composer, along with Handel and Chopin].
      THANK YOU!
