Έχω πάψει να παρακολουθώ τους Accept από τα early ‘00s, όπως και άλλα metal γκρουπ που άκουγα τις προηγούμενες δεκαετίες. Μια αφίσα για επικείμενη συναυλία τους, εδώ, τον Ιούνιο, με έκανε να τους νοσταλγήσω. Έψαξα, και ανακάλυψα αυτό το βίντεο με το “βασικό” κομμάτι του νέου τους άλμπουμ [Too Mean To Die, Ιανουάριος ’22].
Το ανεβάζω όχι μόνο γιατί κολλάει με το Doom’s Day concept, αλλά και γιατί απηχεί ακριβώς τα δικά μου συναισθήματα.
Θα επακολουθήσει, αύριο, ένα κείμενο σχετικό με τον τίτλο του track.
Γιατί η υπόθεση είναι σκοτεινά ενδιαφέρουσα, και εκτείνεται πολύ πέρα από το πλαίσιο ενός sci-fi horror movie ή βίντεο.
I’ve quit following Accept since the early ’00s, as well as other metal bands I’ve been listening to in previous decades.
A poster for their upcoming concert here, in June, made me nostalgic for them. I searched, and discovered this video with the “basic” track from their new album [Too Mean To Die, January 2022 release].
I post it on not only because it matches the Doom’s Day concept, but also because it reflects my own feelings.

That was awakening! Powerful lyrics with food for though and driving guitar. I haven’t heard any Accept since “Balls to the wall” in the ‘80’s, love it! Thanks for posting and so glad I stumbled upon this, guess what I will be catching up on Spottify today .. 😀
Last things I remember from them were Death Row & Predator from the middle – late ’90s. Then I just lost contact. I was surprised by the drive and the lyrics also! Thank you for the comment.
