Η περίοδος, late ‘70s, που ξεκίνησαν τη δισκογραφική τους καριέρα [ως μέλη του “κινήματος” Rock In Opposition] δεν ήταν η καταλληλότερη για καλλιτέχνες του είδους. Ακόμα χειρότερο ήταν το mainstream κλίμα για ένα άλμπουμ όπως το Heat Wave, εν έτει 1986.
We hear the title track from Heat Wave, an album by the significant Belgian avant-prog band Univers Zero – their music is rather 20th century’ s contemporary than rock. The period, late ’70s, during which they started recording [as members of the Rock In Opposition “movement”] was not most suitable for artists of their kind. Even worse was the mainstream scene for an album like Heat Wave, in 1986.
Odd for mainstream, for sure. It’s more like a score for a Sci-fi movie.

No big deal. It’s totally manageable. Most of the stuff we hear in the news is hyperbole / climate alarmists propaganda. I can remember much hotter summers than this one, even 40 years in the past.

It’s all BS, trust me. They’re marketing the “disease” [climate crisis] to sell the cure [“renewable” energy].
I’m not surprised. “They” are all about $. Marketing is the tool, whatever the product.
They are about $ alright. But they’re about control also. It’s interesting how for each and every “nightmare” that threatens humanity the solution is the same : stay home, give up your freedoms, don’t talk against the official narrative. And everyone who does, is …literally Hitler.

The one “Hitler” reference I have heard is toward Putin.
Considering we have the largest official Ukrainian population outside of Ukraine, it’s to be expected.
Putin himself is not that far from Hitler. The problem is that each and everyone of us can be put on the “Hitler” category, just for saying things like “Corona is a flu”, or “climate change is an [actually existent but …heavily] overblown thing”.
I ‘m sorry to say that, but I believe Trudeau is one of the most dark figures in leading position on the entire planet. Canada is a country I love and dream about since childhood. I don’t think it deserves a “thing” like this as its leader.
Trudeau …. will be re-elected because there is no-one else to vote for, young people like him and old people still love his father.
There is 2 years before the next election. Someone may come out of the woodwork. There is hope.
