Les Jeux d’eaux à la Villa d’Este – The Fountains of Villa d’Este (photo) – comes from the third suite of Franz Liszt’s ‘Années De Pèlerinage‘ [‘Years of Pilgrimage’]. A momentary passage at its beginning [00:36] could have been the “spark” for the conception of the The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway’s intro.
