It is perfect for the time. The title brings to mind Led Zeppelin’s excellent song “What Is And What Should Never Be”.
Funny thing is people thing the title comes from HP Lovecraft’s “Shadow Over Innsmouth” but there’s no such phrase there.
Actually it comes from another Lovecraft’s masterpiece, “At The Mountains Of Madness”.
And it is not a reference to the almighty Cthulhu, but to the abominable Shoggoths.
How much the Sloggoths need to rebel against the tyrannical Elder Things of today.
