MANUEL DE FALLA [1876 – 1946] : DANZA RITUAL DEL FUEGO [EL AMOR BRUJO]

Ακούμε τον Τελετουργικό Χορό της Φωτιάς [Danza Ritual Del Fuego] από την New Philharmonia Orchestra υπό τη διεύθυνση του Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos.

In the beginning of the 20th century, the Spanish composer
Manuel De Falla presents his most famous work : the ballet “Love, The Magician” shows influence by artists like Debussy and Ravel but above all, the Andalusian origin of his music. We hear the Ritual Dance Of The Fire [Danza Ritual Del Fuego]. Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos conducts the New Philharmonia Orchestra.

Very dramatic! I’ve think I’ve heard this piece before, somewhere along the line.

It’s fairly known, at least for this composer’s status.
