Keith Mansfield’s track had originally appeared in ‘Love’s Themes’, a 1976 album by music library KPM, and was used a year later on the soundtrack of David Croneneberg’s historic horror film ‘Rabid’.
Obviously the track’s choice had something to do with its ominous “underlying” tones.

Interesting music. I can see why Croneneberg would like it. Croneneberg is a unique filmmaker. I still can’t get over Videodrome.
Cronenberg is a genius, and a prophet of the age of hygiene horror. Which, sadly, is the one we’re living through right now.
True!
