Για τον χρήστη της υποθέσεως, τα ρομπότ – μεταφορείς της Amazon είναι “creepy”…
Σε ό,τι με αφορά, ίσως να φταίει που το αγαπημένο μου παιχνίδι μικρός ήταν ένα ρομποτάκι. Ίσως να φταίει και το ρομπότ από το “Lost In Space”. Πάντως τα καημένα τα κατασκευάσματα μου φαίνονται γελοία και συμπαθητικά. Η “φιλοτιμία”, η αστάθεια και η αβεβαιότητα των κινήσεων, το “σημειωτόν” που κάνουνε, άσε που μοιάζουν με Αλογάκια της Παναγίας…

There is a huge 500,000 SF Amazon distribution center it Albuquerque now. I wonder if it is staffed with robots.
A thought : considering the fact that jobs like this are what the migrants flock hoping for, robots could be a ..temporary solution. I certainly prefer robots doing the job rather than Pakistanis or Algerians.
Ιn the coming future, of course, machines are destined to replace us all – including lawyers, doctors, “artists” and, lest we forget, programmers.
Amazon uses locals for delivery drivers, and many of them don’t seem to read English very well if at all. I just got back from seeing Alice Cooper in concert. Good time.
