Ένα τραγούδι που με μια πιο “επαγγελματική” παραγωγή και με την κατάλληλη προώθηση, θα μπορούσε να αφήσει στίγμα στην ιστορία του progressive. Όπως και οι δημιουργοί του άλλωστε, οι Ιταλοί Acqua Fragile, που διέγραψαν μια σύντομη, ενδιαφέρουσα πορεία στα early- mid -70s κυκλοφορώντας δυο άλμπουμ. Η επιρροή των Genesis είναι αισθητή, ακόμα και στα φωνητικά, θυμίαζοντάς μας ότι συγκροτήματα όπως αυτοί ή οι Van Der Graaf Generator ήταν πολύ πιο γνωστοί στα early ’70s επί ...ιταλικού εδάφους απ’ ότι επί βρετανικού. 🟡 🟡 A song that, with a more “professional” production, and the right promotion, could have left a mark on the history of progressive. The same about its creators, the Italian band Acqua Fragile, who carved out a short but interesting career in the early-to-mid ’70s, releasing two albums. The influence of Genesis is clearly audible, even in the vocals, reminding us that bands like them – or Van Der Graaf Generator – were much better known in the early ’70s on …Italian than on British soil.
