BRIAN ENO : APOLLO ATMOSPHERES & SOUNDTRACKS (1983)

Το 1983 ο Brian Eno, με τη συνεργασία του κιθαρίστα & παραγωγού Daniel Lanois και του αδελφού του Roger Eno (εδώ σε ρόλο πιανίστα και συν-συνθέτη) γράφει τη μουσική για το ντοκιμαντέρ For All Mankind του Al Reinert. 📀 📀 📀 In 1983, Brian Eno, in collaboration with guitarist and producer Daniel Lanois and his brother Roger Eno (here in the role of pianist and co-composer), wrote the music for Al Reinert’s documentary For All Mankind. The director’s aim, bypassing the standard epic approach, was to present the “human” perspective of the Apollo missions to the Moon. This was achieved not only through the power of the images, but also through the experiences of the astronauts, and the thoughts and feelings being recounted. Of corresponding intimacy, the music stands as one of the finest examples of Eno’s ambient aesthetic.
