The new, emphatically multiculti trio of pianist – composer Vijay Iyer is completed by bassist Linda May Han Oh and drummer Tyshawn Sorey.
This is yet another release of the excellent Indian American musician for ECM records, the compositions being mostly his, like the one we hear.

Thank you very much Sue! This guy is exceptional, one of the best of his generation, I’ve followed him since the early ’00s. Excellent pianist and top composer, with a feeling for dramatic tension – something rather unusual for a jazz musician!
