UK SUBS : I LIVE IN A CAR [1979]

A song from the classic London punks’ album
Another Kind Of Blues, 1978 – the blues of the title does not refer to “the blues” but to Drinamyl amphetamine, passed from mod [’60s] to punk [’70s] culture. Blue was the color of the pill, canceled today.

Well i live in a car,

I’ve been finding punk very appealing of late. I have no idea why.

    Yahoo!
Now I have memories of Harry’s Hideaway.
I called it Harry’s Hole in the Wall. It was in an old house, and they literally smashed holes in the walls, to make it into 1 …sort of a room.
The music was never less than FAB! I saw Nina Hagen there. She inhaled an entire joint in one suck.
The Clash played there. Norman’s first band played there. I shoved a groupie off Norman’s lap, and replaced her with me. It was a great time.
