That second track has always struck me as a “falling in love” song. I’d give my eye teeth to be able to write a story that evokes the same emotional response.
I know what you mean about the track.
As for the emotional response, I ‘m not sure anyone could achieve something like this nowadays. It’s not about talent or skills, it’s about the spirit of the times.
“Artistic creation” as a social paradigm is dethroned by the one of “technological innovation”, let us not forget that …”changing the world forever” was / is the main narrative behind both.😠😡👿
About fifteen years ago, higher education was all atwitter about “disruptive innovation” through the use of technology. As the years have gone by, it’s clear that much (albeit not all) of the innovation was just disruption, leaving high ed fragmented, chaotic, and fighting for the almighty dollar.
I wouldn’t even bet about the dollar thing. We’re talking about highly uneducated twisted idiots!
Case in point is the President of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). As far as I’m concerned, he’s a spawn of the devil.

Πιο ακραίο παράδειγμα του είδους που μου έρχεται : το THICK AS A BRICK των Jethro Tull, 1972, είχε φτάσει στο Νο 1 του …αμερικάνικου τοπ. Το αυτό είχε συμβεί ένα χρόνο αργότερα με το [ακόμα πιο “δύσκολο”, αποτελούμενο επίσης από δυο 20λεπτα κομμάτια] A PASSION PLAY των ιδίων.
Στο Hammond είναι ο πρώτος κιμπορντίστας [+ τραγουδιστής] του γκρουπ Gregg Rolie. Στο πιάνο [“εκτάκτως”] ο Alberto Gianquinto, συν-συνθέτης του κομματιού.
