Roxy Music – I feel they wee ahead of their time. On a shallow side, they had the best album covers!
I’m not the greatest fan of RM’s covers [that doesn’t mean I don’t like them – I just don’t like none of the cover girls*], but I’m definitely one of their greatest fans ever. And, yes, totally ahead of their time. To my ears, the music on their first 6 albums [including the tremendous Viva Roxy Music – Live] still sounds like the future!
* I believe Bryan Ferry and I would easily get along, even be best friends!😀 – apart from anything else [including the fact that I love this guy!] we have completely different tastes in women!
