Η πρώτη συνεργασία του κιθαρίστα – συνθέτη Pat Metheny με τον πιανίστα – συνθέτη Brad Mehldau, με τίτλο τα επώνυμα τους κυκλοφόρησε το 2006. Αποτελείται βασικά από ντουέτα με την εξαίρεση δυο tracks όπου συμμετέχουν ο κοντραμπασίστας Larry Grenadier και ο ντράμερ Jeff Ballard – μέλη του Brad Mehldau Trio …και του μετέπειτα Metheny Melhdau Quartet. Από το πρώτο άλμπουμ των δυο υπερμουσικών διαλέγουμε το καταληκτικό ντουέτο, ‘Make Peace’, σύνθεση του PM. 🔴 🔴 The first collaboration between guitarist-composer Pat Metheny and pianist-composer Brad Mehldau, simply titled with their surnames, was released in 2006. It consists mainly of duets, with the exception of two tracks that feature bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jeff Ballard — members of the Brad Mehldau Trio and the later Metheny Mehldau Quartet. From the first album by these two outstanding musicians, we have chosen the closing duet, ‘Make Peace, composed by PM.
