Rich and mellow. Miles is wonderful, although sometimes makes me a bit sleepy. Although, the only time I ever actually fell asleep at a concert, it was McCoy Tyner.
Actually, falling asleep at a concert of his / hers should be considered more of a compliment for a musician than the other way around.
McCoy Tyner is one of my favorite jazz pianists. I have a tremendous amount of his solo albums [apart from the ones he did with Coltrane and others]. Prepare yourself for some really sleepy moments!:-)
