Τo 1968, χρονιά της κυκλοφορίας του δισκογραφικού του ντεμπούτου ως leader, ο Corea συμμετέχει στο άλμπουμ του Miles Davis Filles De Kilimanjaro, αντικαθιστώντας σε κάποια sessions τον Herbie Hancock. Τον ακούμε σε ένα από αυτά, στο ηλεκτρικό πιάνο. Miles Davis – τρομπέτα, Wayne Shorter – τενόρο σαξόφωνο, Dave Holland μπάσο, Tony Williams – ντραμς.
In 1968, same year he released his debut album as a leader, Corea participates on Filles De Kilimanjaro by Miles Davis, as Herbie Hancock’s replacement on some of the sessions. We hear him one of these, on the electric piano.
