Ο Γερμανός [σε πείσμα του γαλλο-ιταλικού του ονόματος] συνθέτης Jean-Paul-Egide Martini έγραψε κυρίως εκκλησιαστική μουσική, όπερες και τραγούδια, όπως αυτό εδώ : το Plaisir d’ Amour διασκευασμένο και μετονομασμένο, θα αποτελούσε ένα από τα high lights της ποπ κουλτούρας, ενάμιση αιώνα από το θάνατό του. Το ακούμε από τον Ουαλό μπάσο-βαρύτονο Bryn Terfel.
