Η θρησκευτική Καντάτα με τίτλο Erfreut euch, ihr Herzen (“Χαρείτε εσείς οι καρδιές”) γράφτηκε από τον J.S. Bach για τη Δευτέρα μετά το Πάσχα. Διαλέγουμε απ΄αυτήν, την ανεξάντλητη πηγή (μουσικής) ευφορίας που αποτελεί η άρια για μπάσο Lasset dem Höchsten ein Danklied erschallen
(“Ας αντηχήσει στον Ύψιστο ένα τραγούδι ευχαριστίας”) και την ακούμε σε ηχογράφηση αναφοράς : Είναι το Leonhardt-Consort υπό τον κορυφαίο μαέστρο, τσεμπαλίστα και οργανίστα Gustav Leonhardt. Ερμηνεύει απαράμιλλα ο Max Von Egmont. 🟡 🟡 The sacred cantata entitled Erfreut euch, ihr Herzen (“Rejoice, you hearts”) was composed by J.S. Bach for Easter Monday. From this work we have selected the inexhaustible source of musical euphoria that is the bass aria Lasset dem Höchsten ein Danklied erschallen (“Let a song of thanksgiving resound to the Highest”). We listen to it in a reference recording: it is the Leonhardt-Consort conducted by the outstanding maestro, harpsichordist and organist Gustav Leonhardt. Max van Egmond performs it impeccably.
