Παρθενικό άλμπουμ, εποχές ρομαντισμού και εφηβικής αγνότητας για τους Genesis, κανείς απ’ τους οποίους δεν έχει κλείσει ακόμα τα 20. Όμως, η Φωνή είναι κιόλας εδώ. Σε κάνει να σκέφτεσαι ότι ο Peter Gabriel ήταν ένας ολοκληρωμένος ερμηνευτής απ’ την πρώτη στιγμή που στάθηκε μπροστά σε μικρόφωνο.
Little relation to the band that would conquer the top of the prog rock world, years later. Maiden album, an era of romance and adolescent purity for Genesis, none of whom has turned 20 yet. But the Voice is already here. Makes you think that Peter Gabriel was a complete performer from the first moment he stood in front of a microphone.

OMG! I had no idea Genesis went back that far.
It was good for the era, yet, it lead to a star far beyond.
I completely adore this juvenile Genesis stuff, although I know it’s not the best they ‘ve ever written. But then, to me, Genesis [Gabriel era and the first 4 albums after him] are simply the best band ever existed.
