Ο Γάλλος συνθέτης Francois-Adrien Boieldieu, ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένος στην εποχή του [γνωστός ως “ο Γάλλος Μότσαρτ”] έγραψε κυρίως όπερες,  από τις οποίες μια και μόνο, η La Dame Blanche, εκτελείται σήμερα. Έγραψε επίσης έργα οργανικής μουσικής, όπως αυτό το Κονσέρτο για άρπα και ορχήστρα εγχόρδων, του οποίου ακούμε το τελευταίο μέρος. Σολίστ η Marisa Robles, την συνοδεύει η Academy of St Martin-in-the-fields, υπό την Iona Brown.

The French composer Francois-Adrien Boieldieu, enormously successful in his time [“French Mozart” he was called], wrote mainly operas, one of whom only, La dame Blanche, is still performed today. He also wrote instrumental music, like this concerto for harp and string orchestra. We hear the final part of it. Marisa Robles is the soloist, Iona Brown is conducting the Academy of St Martin-in-the-fields.
