Για το Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps), και ειδικά γι’ αυτά τα τραγούδια σχόλια, δεν χρειάζονται, δεν μπορώ όμως να μη πω μια κουβέντα για τον ρόλο που η κιθάρα του Fripp παίζει, ειδικά στο ομώνυμο: το σόλο αυτό κατά την ταπεινή μου άποψη είναι η κορυφαία στιγμή της καριέρας του ως σολίστα.
Two songs from the masterpiece with which Bowie said goodbye to RCA. His next release [on the EMI label] would be Let’s Dance, the album that would put him “on the top” – with whatever that implies.
No comments needed for Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) and especially these songs, although I just can’t help but say a word about Fripp’s guitar, especially on the title track : this, imho, is the high point of his career as a soloist.
