Having left behind his “Phil Collins period”, as he ‘s characterized his ’80s releases, David has become unpredictable and creative again, with Brian Eno by his side. Leaving behind a Phil Collins period is a good thing, I would say.
Yes, it ‘d be good also for Phil himself, but it wasn’t meant to happen. He had a brilliant career before his “Phil Collins period”. I still like the guy though, I even bought his autobiography [“Not Dead Yet”].🙂
