Η αγγλική συμμετοχή στην Eurovision μου θύμισε τον Ντέμη Ρούσσο και τους Aphrodite’s Child. Ακούμε λοιπόν το ομώνυμο τραγούδι του πρώτου τους άλμπουμ – το τέλος του κόσμου λαμβάνεται εδώ ως …τοπικός [τα πέρατα του κόσμου] και όχι χρονικός προσδιορισμός.
Επί της ουσίας βέβαια η διαφορά είναι ασαφής, αλλά …whatever.
UK’s Eurovision participation reminded me of Demis Roussos and Aphrodite’s Child. So we hear the title track from their debut album – the end of the world here refers to space [the edge of the world], not time.
On second thought, the difference between the two is uncertain somehow, but … whatever.

Interesting (I didn’t hear any of this year’s Eurovision music. yet.). I’ll admit that the only Aphrodite’s Child I have heard is 666, but I have heard a lot of music by the band’s keyboardist 😉
We enjoy Eurovision every year basically as a “musical” comedy, but this year’s English participation was surprisingly good.

Thinking of the keyboardist for Aphrodite’s Child, I just found out that Vangelis passed away a couple of days ago. I somehow missed it earlier.
I also found out today – somehow the news had not spread before. Me posting the Aphrodite’s Child song 2 days before his passing was a peculiar coincidence.
I think the family (or whoever) only released the news today (it is still Thursday here). It is quite a coincidence that you posted that so close.
