Ο συνθέτης και οργανίστας Anton Bruckner [1824-1896] θεωρείται ένας από τους τελευταίους μεγάλους συμφωνιστές της κλασικής παράδοσης.
Βρισκόμαστε ωστόσο στην τελευταία εβδομάδα του αφιερώματος στον Dvorak, στη διάρκεια της οποίας σκοπεύω να ανεβάσω αποσπάσματα από τις 7 συμφωνίες του που απομένουν. Διαλέγω λοιπόν κάτι από την εξ ίσου ενδιαφέρουσα και συναρπαστική θρησκευτική πλευρά του έργου του Αυστριακού συνθέτη.

We ‘ve entered however, the final week of our tribute to Dvorak, during which I intend to upload excerpts from his 7 remaining symphonies. I choose therefore something from the equally interesting to fascinating religious side of the Austrian composer’s work.
We hear the first part, Kyrie, from his Mass No 1 [Messe No.1 En Ré Mineur Pour Solistes, Chorus Et Orchestre].
The Bavarian Radio Orchestra and Choir are conducted by Eugen Jochum.
