Αποσπάσματα συνθέσεων του Μότσαρτ για φλάουτο, όργανο για το οποίο εξακριβωμένα έτρεφε αντιπάθεια [υπάρχει η επιστολή στον πατέρα του όπου αυτό πιστοποιείται, όπως και το διάσημο αστείο που αποδίδεται στον M : “τι είναι χειρότερο από τον ήχο ενός φλάουτου; ο ήχος δυο φλάουτων!”]
Ομολογουμένως η συγκεκριμένη διάθεση καθόλου δεν προκύπτει από αυτά που ακούμε, όπως και από ο,τιδηποτε άλλο του είδους που έχει υποπέσει στην αντίληψή μου, όπως πχ. τα δύο κονσέρτα του.
Αυτό που προκύπτει είναι μουσική υπέροχα απολαυστική : δυο αποσπάσματα από το Κουαρτέτο Για Φλάουτο Νο 1 σε Ρε Μείζονα, Κ 258 [φλάουτο, βιολί, βιόλα, τσέλο] και το αιθέριο Adantino απο το περισσότερο γνωστό Κονσέρτο Για Φλάουτο, Άρπα και Ορχηστρα σε Ντο Μείζονα, K 299.
Excerpts from Mozart’s compositions for flute, an instrument which, verifiably, he disliked [there is the letter to his father attesting to this, and also the famous joke attributed to M : “what is worse than the sound of a flute? the sound of two flutes!”]
Admittedly, this mood is nowhere to be found in what we hear, as well as in anything else of the kind that has come to my attention, such as his two concertos.
What emerges is music wonderfully enjoyable : two excerpts from the Flute Quartet No. 1 in D Major, K 258 [flute, violin, viola & cello] and the ethereal Adantino from the better-known Concerto For Flute, Harp and Orchestra in C Major, K 299.

I found these flute pieces quite pleasant. Is it safe to assume that Mozart had never heard an accordion?
Absolutely safe. The accordion was invented decades after Mozart’s death.
I sense a distaste for the particular instrument. 😊 Not that I ‘m fond of it myself… 😒
It’s okay in zydeco and Gogol Bordello, but that’s about it.

Funny, I always thought flute is not my fave instrument.
I had a girl friend who played flute.
She stole my boy friend. They got married. I was set free.
Now that I think about it… 🤔 I like the flute more than I thought! 😉
It’s one of my best. It’s Jethro Tull after all. I play a bit myself! And I am a “virtuoso” of the recorder. 😊
