Μια ακόμα μπάντα των ’70s ευρωπαϊκής εκπορεύσεως, οι Γερμανοί, εξ Αμβούργου, Frumpy. Prog, psychedelic & blues rock oriented – κάποιοι τους τοποθετούν ακόμα και στις παρυφές του kraut rock – με προεξάρχοντα μέλη την εκρηκτική τραγουδίστρια και συνθέτιδα Inga Rumpf, μια από τις μεγαλύτερες φωνές που ανέδειξε το γερμανικό ροκ (στ’ αυτιά μου ακούγεται σαν θηλυκή βερσιόν του John Lawton!) και τον Γάλλο βιρτουόζο οργανίστα / συνθέτη Jean-Jacques Kravetz, κυκλοφόρησαν τρία στούντιο άλμπουμ και ένα live πριν διαλυθούν, μέχρι τη δεκαετία του ’90 και το απαραίτητο (αποτυχημένο γι’ αυτούς) reunion. Prog, psychedelic & blues rock-oriented – some even place them on the fringes of krautrock – with standout members the explosive singer and composer Inga Rumpf, one of the greatest voices German rock has ever produced (to my ears, she sounds like a female version of John Lawton!) and the French virtuoso organist/composer Jean-Jacques Kravetz, they released three studio albums and one live record before disbanding, only to reunite in the ’90s for what was an unsuccessful comeback. ‘Good Winds’ is a track from their second album, Frumpy 2.
