Oh, I remember this one from when I was a kid!
Me too! I remember traveling by boat to Chios, and on the lounge’s TV there was this guy singing this song (I didn’t know him back then, nor did I know the song – I was simply caught by the word “America”). The carefree joy of summer, the excitement of heading to my favorite place, and the euphoria this song gave me combined to make this moment unforgettable.
