Είχα πάντα ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στους Ολλανδούς Focus, και ιδίως στη μουσική που κυκλοφόρησαν στη χρυσή περίοδο του progressive rock (συνεχίζουν μέχρι σήμερα, αποκλειστικά με τον κιμπορντίστα, φλαουτίστα, βοκαλίστα Thijs van Leer – ο κιθαρίστας & συνδημιουργός τους Jan Akkerman έχει αποχωρήσει από τα mid-70s). Σύνθεση του Akkerman. 🟡 🟡 I’ve always had a particular soft spot for the Dutch band Focus, especially the music they released during the golden era of progressive rock (they continue to this day, exclusively with keyboardist, flutist, and vocalist Thijs van Leer – guitarist and co-founder Jan Akkerman has been gone since the mid-70s). By typing their name into the blog’s search, one can find some of their own gems from the prog genre. We’re now listening to another (masterpiece) from their 1974 album Hamburger Concerto.
