Η διετία 1968 – 69 δεν ήταν ακριβώς η τυχερότερη του [ξεχασμένου σήμερα] Terry Reid. Ο τραγουδιστής – κιθαρίστας απέρριψε [λόγω ανειλημμένων υποχρεώσεων] την πρόταση του Jimmy Page να γίνει front man των New Yardbirds, “ευρύτερα” γνωστών ως Led Zeppelin.
Την επόμενη χρονιά θα απέρριπτε την πρόταση του Richie Blackmore να αντικαταστήσει τον Rod Evans, τραγουδιστή ως τότε των Deep Purple.
Ταυτόχρονα κυκλοφορούσε το [όχι ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένο] άλμπουμ του The Hand Don’t Fit The Glove! απ’ το οποίο ακούμε ένα τραγούδι.

1968 and ’69 weren’t the luckiest years for [now forgotten] Terry Reid. The singer- guitarist rejected [due to commitments] Jimmy Page’s proposal to become the front man of the New Yardbirds, “more commonly” known as Led Zeppelin.
This would be followed by him rejecting Richie Blackmore’s offer of taking Rod Evans’ place as singer of Deep Purple.
On that same year he released his [not particularly successful] album The Hand Don’t Fit The Glove!, a song from which we hear.
