TELEMANN : PARTIE POLONAISE / JULIAN BREAM, JOHN WILLIAMS

A virtuoso of all instruments and musical forms, multifaceted and prolific, always inspired at a constant level,
Georg Philipp Telemann composed about 3,000 works, instrumental and vocal, secular and religious.
We listen to classical guitar legends
Julian Bream and John Williams [I’ve watched the first one live in the early 90s] in some parts of Partie Polonaise, originally composed for two baroque lutes.

They are two of the greatest virtuosos of classical guitar. I’ve watched the first one of them on a “unofficial” gig back in the ’90s. It was an experience.
