Syd Barrett, one of my personal favorites (and not just mine) was born this month in 1946 – he would have been 79 years old today. We hear a song from The Madcap Laughs (1970), first album released after his non-voluntary exit from Pink Floyd.
Golden Hair is his setting to music of a poem by James Joyce – original title is ‘Goldenhair’.
