Στο έργο του μεγάλου Φιλανδού συνθέτη Einojuhani Rautavaara (1928-2016) βρίσκονται ενσωματωμένες τάσεις ετερόκλητες, από τον κλασικισμό και το νεορομαντισμό μέχρι το σειραϊσμό και την αβανγκάρντ του εικοστού αιώνα, σε συνδυασμό αυτά με επιρροές από τη λαϊκή μουσική της πατρίδας του. Ακούμε δυο μέρη από τη σύνθεσή του για ορχήστρα χάλκινων πνευστών Sotilasmessu (A Soldier’s Mass). Αποδίδει η Finnish Brass Symphony, υπό τη διεύθυνση Hannu Lintu. 🟡 🟡 In the work of the great Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara (1928–2016), diverse and heterogeneous trends are embedded, ranging from classicism and neo-romanticism to serialism and the avant-garde of the twentieth century, all combined with influences from the folk music of his homeland. We hear two parts of his composition for brass orchestra Sotilasmessu (A Soldier’s Mass), performed by the Finnish Brass Symphony, conducted by Hannu Lintu.
