Για τη σημερινή μέρα έχουμε αποσπάσματα από το μνημειώδες soundtrack του Miklós Rózsa για την ταινία King Of Kings του Nicolas Ray (1961) – σε ρόλο Χριστού ο Jeffrey Hunter. Ο ηθοποιός λίγο αργότερα θα γινόταν ο πρώτος κυβερνήτης του Enterprise (Captain Pike) σ’ ένα επεισόδιο – πιλότο, το οποίο αρχικά απορρίφθηκε. Αυτό έπαιξε ρόλο στην αποχώρησή του από το cast του Star Trek, και την έλευση στο προσκήνιο του …real thing. 🟡 🟡 For today we have excerpts from the monumental soundtrack by Miklós Rózsa for Nicholas Ray’s film King of Kings (1961) — with Jeffrey Hunter in the role of Christ. A little later, the actor would become the first captain of the Enterprise (Captain Pike) in a pilot episode that was initially rejected. This played a role in his departure from Star Trek’s cast and the emergence of… the real thing.
