Oh my ! That was tense ! Ειχα καιρο να τ ακουσω .. Καταπληκτικη ενορχηστρωση και τρελλα πληκτρα , κιθαρες μπασσα et al .. Δεν βαζω το χερι μου στη φωτια αλλα μου φερνει κατι απο Pink Floyd η’ ισως και Peter Gabriel σε post punk φορμα , χα χα …. Μαλλον πρεπει να κανω μια επαναληψη στους Μagazine , εχω το συγκεκριμενο LP ..
Α και μια κι αναφερα τον P.Gab. μολις χθες που εβλεπα ενα βιντεο για το “θρυλικο” Runniing up that Hill της Κate Bush (αλλη αγαπημενη αυτη ) κι εμαθα οτι θαυμαζε τον Gabriel , κι εκεινος επισης την εκτιμουσε , και μαλιστα ειχε κανει φωνητικα η ιδια στο επισης iconic “Game without Frontiers” , το She s so popular στην αρχη του κομματιου το λεει εκεινη.. Εκτος αν ειναι fake indo οπως γινεται συχνα σ αυτα τα προχειρα doc του Υοθτθβε ..
Στ’ αυτιά μου ακούγεται κατά βάσιν επηρεασμένο από την Τριλογία των Eno-Bowie (τσέκαρε πχ. το “Sons Of The Silent Age” από το Heroes)
Οι Magazine ήταν από τα αγαπημένα μου γκρουπ της περιόδου.
Και ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα κομπλιμέντα που έχω διαβάσει για τους Blue Light και τους MK-O, ήταν η αντιπαραβολή που έκαναν κάποιοι (Ζήλος, Τριανταφυλλίδης, Δασκαλόπουλος κ.ά.) ανάμεσα σ’ εμάς και τους Magazine.
