Άφησα έξω πτυχές όπως οι ερμηνείες του σε κλασικό ρεπερτόριο – αντ’ αυτού μου ακούστηκε πιο ταιριαστή μια από τις συνθέσεις του Gurdjieff από το Sacred Hymns. It’s impossible to create a podcast “representative” of a career like Keith Jarrett ‘s – he was born like… yesterday, May 8, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. So, from an abyss of solo concerts and albums with the American Quartet, the European Quartet, the Standards Trio etc., you end up in a sequence that serves your own mood of the moment. I left out aspects like his interpretations of classical repertoire – instead, one of Gurdjieff’s compositions from Sacred Hymns sounded more fitting.
