📀 📀 We’re listening to three strong excerpts from the atmospheric, bluesy & jazzy soundtrack that Joe Jackson composed for Francis Ford Coppola’s distinctive film ‘Tucker’ (1988, Jeff Bridges, Martin Landau). The latter, “for some reason,” followed a fate strikingly similar to that of Preston Tucker—the inventor of the revolutionary, ahead-of-its-time car the movie portrays. In two words: commercial failure.

I remember “The Car of Tomorrow . . . Today” from having watched the movie. I don’t remember the other two, though.
I hope it’s comforting for you that even I (with my supposedly perfect musical memory) didn’t really remember them! 😜
Meanwhile, I really enjoy The Weight Of Snow And Regret. So much, in fact, that I’ve begun stealing time from the other books on my current reading list to go back to it!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying The Weight of Snow and Regret!! Thank you for letting me know.
You’re welcome! 😊
Fab music, and I do remember the movie. Thank you!
Liz’s book is fabulous.
