HANS ZIMMER – GREEN CARD OST [1990]

“Instinct”. Από το soundtrack του Hans Zimmer για το αριστούργημα του Peter Weir Green Card. ‘Ήταν η ταινία που με έκανε να συμπαθήσω για πρώτη φορά τον Gerard Depardieu – όχι ότι κράτησε πολύ.
“Instinct”. From Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for Peter Weir’s masterpiece Green Card.
This was the film that made me like Gerard Depardieu for the first time – it didn’t last long.

Very touching to my opinion. There was a time when the migration issue was a totally different story than today.
Peter Weir is one of my favorite directors. Especially for “The Dead Poets Society”.

LOL! “It didn’t last long.” (same here!)
Wonderful music. Sound tracks are like modern classical, in a way. If I make any sense.

In a way they are. Not ground breaking as the true classics were at their time, of course : you can’t have a soundtrack utterly demanding, it would distract the viewer from the “action”.
