    thank you -what a treat – probably my favourite jazz pianist – certainly one of the few British greats- such a distinctive style. He is extemporizing more than I have ever heard hm do though

        Ah well then how about giving the contrast when the nights draw in and do ‘Wintertime’? I can think of S & G Hazy Shade of Winter and The Bangles cover of that, ‘It was only a Winter’s Tale’ by David Essex and for something a little alt Xmas, there’s Sting’s brilliant album ‘If one a Winter’s Night’…I could go on…
