To ‘Abandonded Love’ είχε γραφτεί δέκα χρόνια πριν, με επικείμενο το διαζύγιο του Bob από τη σύζυγό του Sara Lownds. Η ηχογράφησή του είχε γίνει στη διάρκεια των sessions για το Desire, χωρίς να συμπεριληφθεί τελικά σ’ αυτό. Θα κυκλοφορούσε το 1985 στο box – συλλογή Biograph, με τραγούδια του BD από τη μέχρι τότε καριέρα του. (Το δεύτερό μας track είναι το original). 📀 📀 On this officially unreleased 1984 demo, George Harrison covers Bob Dylan’s priceless love song, which was also unreleased at the time. ‘Abandoned Love’ had been written ten years earlier, as Bob’s divorce from his wife Sara Lownds was impending. It was recorded during the sessions for Desire, but ultimately not included in the album. It would be released in 1985 on the box-set compilation Biograph, featuring songs from BD’s career up to that point. (Our second track is the original).
