Από την Jephtha, το τελευταίο ορατόριο που συνέθεσε ο GFH, ακούμε την εισαγωγή και την άρια ‘Scenes of horror, scenes of woe’ [Anne Sophie Von Otter – φωτό]. Τους English Baroque Soloists και την Monteverdi Choir διευθύνει ο John Eliot Gardiner
Στη συνέχεια την άρια “Thais Led The Way” [Donna Brown] απ΄το “αφηγηματικό” έργο του Handel Alexander’s Feast – The Power Of Music, βασισμένο σε κείμενο του John Dryden. Τους English Baroque Soloists και την Monteverdi Choir διευθύνει ο John Eliot Gardiner.
Τέλος, η “πολεμική” άρια ‘Call forth thy pow’rs, my soul’ [Ryland Davies] από το ορατόριο Judas Maccabaeus. Την Wandsworth School Choir και την English Chamber Orchestra διευθύνει ο Sir Charles Mackerras.
