THE DANDY WARHOLS : EVERY DAY SHOULD BE A HOLIDAY (1997)

Ακουγόταν στο φιλμ There’s Something About Mary και ήταν ένα από τα singles του δεύτερου άλμπουμ τους. 📀 📀 The sound of the ’90s wasn’t just that of the gloomy “pre-millennium tension.” It was, at the same time, that of optimism and carefree abandon—complementary to the first. Like the sound that gushes from the wonderful song by The Dandy Warhols. It was featured in the film There’s Something About Mary and was one of the singles of their second album.

Summertime, if I was getting paid
For getting drunk and getting laid.
I’d grab a phone just to call you up and say
“Quit your job, cause I got it made”
Anytime,
baby lets go,
Everyday
should be a holiday.
Super cool, the Dandy’s rule, okay.
Got the dough and got the raves,
Anytime, call me up if you
Got the sun, cause I got the waves.
Anytime,
baby lets go,
Everyday
should be a holiday.
Anytime,
baby lets go,
Everyday
should be a holiday.
Anytime,
baby lets go,
Everyday
should be a holiday.
Anytime,
baby lets go,
Everyday
should be a holiday.
