Ήταν οι Georges Auric, Louis Durey, Arthur Honegger, Darius MIlhaud, Francis Poulenc, Germaine Tailleferre].
00:00 Pastorale D’ Ete [με νύξεις στην 6η του Beethoven] και
08:21 Monopartita.
The Swiss composer Arthur Honegger [1892-1955] is an important figure in the March born musicians club. He was a member of Les Six, though more “traditionally” oriented [Les Six: a group of French composers whose stylistic tastes pitted them against both German romanticism and French Impressionism; they were Georges Auric, Louis Durey, Arthur Honegger, Darius MIlhaud, Francis Poulenc, Germaine Tailleferre].
Honegger wrote symphonies, chamber music, oratorios and operas. The orchestral Pacific 231 is the best-known among his works.
Here ’s two other, excellent works for orchestra :
00:00 Pastorale D’ Ete [with hints to Beethoven’s 6th] and
08:21 Monopartita.

the vast musical range you post is enjoyable, educational and goes to show just how musical you and Marina must be
Thank you very much!
This music is good, but your knowledge outshines it.
Did you go to a music university to learn everything you know?
Just to an ordinary conservatory for piano and music theory. But I’ve listened to a lot [I mean, a lot] of music since childhood, I’ve read a lot about it …and have a good memory.
As I told you before, the stuff I’ve presented for the past 4 years is [still] the tip of the iceberg, especially when it comes to jazz and the classics.
Thank you very much!
Well, I’ll be listening!
It’s your range of knowledge that is so impressive.
