Το συγκεκριμένο, όπως όλα τα άλμπουμ των Mahavishnu δεν είναι ακριβώς “πολιτογραφημένο” σαν αντι-πολεμικό, ή γενικότερα έχον ιδιαίτερη σχέση με τα εγκόσμια. 😇 Εν τούτοις μου είναι δύσκολο να φαντστώ κομμάτια πιο ταιριαστά με το τεταμένο, εσχατολογικό κλίμα των ημερών από το εισαγωγικό και καταληκτήριό του : Birds Of Fire, Resolution.συνθέσεις του John McLaughlin. 🔴 🔴 This particular one, just like all the other Mahavishnu albums, isn’t exactly ‘officially established’ or recognized as an anti-war statement, or more broadly as having any special connection to earthly matters. 😇 Nevertheless, it’s hard for me to imagine pieces that fit more perfectly with the tense, eschatological atmosphere of these days than its opening and closing tracks: ‘Birds Of Fire’, ‘Resolution’, both written by John McLaughlin.
