Βρίσκεται στο άλμπουμ The Magic Of Christmas που κυκλοφόρησε το 1960, και είναι από τις πιο ιδιαίτερες και συγκινητικές που έχω ακούσει. 🍄 🍄 Many composers from the 16th and 17th centuries “claim” authorship of the ecstatic Christmas hymn of unknown origin—among them Handel himself. However, Nat King Cole’s interpretation of it is unique. It is found on his album The Magic of Christmas, released in 1960, and is one of the most distinctive and moving versions I have ever heard.

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!
Come, and behold Him, born the King of angels!
O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!
God of God, Light of Light,
lo, He abhors not the virgin’s womb;
very God, begotten not created;
Sing, choirs of angels; sing in exultation;
sing, all ye citizens of heav’n above!
Glory to God, all glory in the highest!
Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv’n!
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
