1901. Ο Maurice Ravel, 26 ετών, γράφει τα ‘Jeux D’ Eau’ (“Παιχνίδια Με Το Νερό”), ένα από τα πρώτα ιμπρεσιονιστικά έργα για πιάνο, και το αφιερώνει στον επίσης μεγάλο συνθέτη και δάσκαλο του, Gabriel Faure. Αt the age of 26, Maurice Ravel composes ‘Jeux d’ Eau’ (“Games With Water”), one of the very first impressionist works for piano, and dedicates it to his teacher and great composer, Gabriel Fauré. The piece would remain one of Ravel’s most significant compositions – we hear it performed by the divine hands of Martha Argerich.
