Οι Engineers είναι ένα ακόμα από τα αξιόλογα σύγχρονα γκρουπ που η μουσική τους “στενάζει” κάτω από στενάχωρες ετικέτες όπως shoegaze, dream pop etc. Οι ίδιοι αναφέρουν ως επιρροές τους Beach Boys, Eno, Pink Floyd, Cocteau Twins μεταξύ άλλων. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2003 στο Λονδίνο (leader – βασικός songwriter του γκρουπ ο μπασίστας, κιθαρίστας, τραγουδιστής Mark Peters) και το τραγούδι αυτό βρίσκεται στο δεύτερο άλμπουμ τους. 🟡 🟡 Engineers are one of the remarkable contemporary groups whose music is “groaning” under narrow labels like shoegaze, dream pop etc. They themselves cite Beach Boys, Eno, Pink Floyd, and Cocteau Twins as influences, among others. They were formed in 2003 in London (bassist, guitarist, keyboardist Mark Peters is the band’s leader – main songwriter) and this song is from their second album.
