…Το αγαπημένο του συγκρότημα, τον καιρό που άρχισα να διαβάζω τον ΗΧΟ, παιδάκι στα mid-70s, ήταν οι Moody Blues. Και ήταν το πρώτο από τα τόσα που έμαθε σε μένα, και τόσους άλλους. Οι αναμνήσεις από τις στιγμές της προσωπικής μας συναναστροφής είναι άφθονες, και πολύτιμες.
Δεν ήταν ένας …ποπ γραφειοκράτης όπως η πλειονότητα των “συναδέλφων μας”, σ’ αυτή τη χώρα και όχι μόνο. Η διαφορά υποθέτω ήταν ότι δε ζούσε από τη μουσική, αλλά μέσα σ’ αυτήν.
Και ακριβώς το ότι παρέμεινε ο αγνός φαν ήταν που τον ξεχώριζε, μαζί με την άφθαστη πένα, τη διεισδυτικότητα της σκέψης του…
…και το ότι ήταν αυτός, ο Αργύρης Ζήλος, που ξεκίνησε την υπόθεση “μουσική δημοσιογραφία στην Ελλάδα”.
