Να σου πω την αλήθεια, έχω πάψει να διαβάζω “έγκυρους μουσικοκριτικούς”, Έλληνες και ξένους από αμνημονεύτων χρόνων. Μοναδική εξαίρεση τα κείμενα των κατά καιρούς συνεργατών μου, μια και έκανα την επιμέλειά τους.
Το τι μαλακίες έχω διαβάσει κατά καιρούς από “κριτικούς” δεν περιγράφεται, και δεν μιλάω μόνο για τους του ροκ ιδιώματος.
Εξακολουθώ εντούτοις να πιστεύω ότι η κριτική [θα έπρεπε να] είναι μια αξιοσέβαστη ασχολία. Και μου δίνει στα νεύρα το ηλίθιο κλισέ του κριτικού που “δεν είναι παρά ένας αποτυχημένος καλλιτέχνης”.
Ο Lanegan πάντα μάγκας ήτανε, αυτό έλειπε να μην έχει πάρει χαμπάρι τι παίζεται εδώ πέρα…

Από την άλλη μόλις ανακάλυψα ότι και ο Mark Lanegan (προσωπική μου αδυναμία) κατατάσσεται από τους ίδιους κύκλους εις την κατηγορία των “παρανοϊκών συνωμοσιολόγων” με αφορμή αποκάλυπτες δηλώσεις του σχετικά με το επίμαχο ζήτημα. Γεμίζει σιγά σιγά το ταξί..
